It comes from the notion that God wants us to have a good life, to partake of His bounty. All we have to do is ask and believe. That is pretty much what The Law of Attraction says, ask and believe. That is why The Law of Attraction is a great tool to use in creating the reality you yearn for “says Mike Paget“.

Goal Setting For Successful Entrepreneurs

Bret Dudl Goal Setting Strategies by Mike Cottam.

Goal setting is an essential tool for all successful entrepreneurs, but if not used properly, the goal setting process can be frustrating and time consuming. Goals are the end product of all your efforts and work and yet they need to be set before you do anything else.

Some goal setting strategies that can help you succeed in your life and your business are outlined in this article. Read them carefully and you will find that you will benefit in ways that at the moment you can only imagine.

Making your goals “real” is as easy as writing them down. This is the very first step that takes your dream, which up until now, has been floating around in your head, and turns it into something far more real. It may seem like a simple thing, but the act of actually writing down your goals is highly empowering and motivating. Make notes that you can keep close at hand and read them at least twice a day. Focus on them and make them real in your mind and soon they will become your compass, guiding you exactly where to go. The best part is that you get to choose the direction.

As you write down your goals, don’t forget that they need to be balanced for all aspects of your life. Writing down that you want to be a millionaire is all well and good, but personal development goals, such as reading motivating and inspirational books, are equally important. Don’t neglect your own growth as a person. It is important to be clear about all of them to make you a successful entrepreneur.

Once you have clearly written down your goals, the next stage is planning actions that will bring them to reality. You need to plan specific actions that will lead you to completion of your goals. Do not make these actions too big or you run the risk of scaring yourself and not taking any action. It is extremely important that you break down your actions to their smallest possible parts. This way you will find them easily achieved on a daily basis. Also, clearly set time limits to your actions and goals that are realistic and attainable, and hold yourself fully responsible for making those deadlines.

Remember, it is all up to you, so no excuses!

Persistence is the key to your success. Never give up, for it is only possible to fail if you quit. If you persist no matter what, your success is assured. If things go wrong and one of your actions is not working, don’t be afraid to try something else to achieve your goal. Taking action is the only way that you will ever achieve your goals and understanding this is the key to you becoming a successful entrepreneur. It may take longer than you hoped, and you may need to try many different methods, but only those who persist will reap the rewards and realize their final goals.

Setting Goals – Ways to Become Rich

Bret Dudl Smart Businessperson by Lawrence Cole.

Today I want to talk about the importance of setting goals, which is something, unless you were born last week, you have probably heard or been trained or coached on some aspect of goal setting at least a million times, especially if you are a businessperson or just someone who has been around for awhile.

I think everybody has their own different spin and take on goals and it’s something that we all need to be refreshed and reminded on because it can be a bit of a tedious task for a lot of people. There are some people who it is very natural for to set goals.

I know for me, I won’t say that it is. I think that in time I’ve made it to become natural for myself because I understand the importance of it, but even that has been a process.

What I would like to do, I really only have one goal in this short conversation with you and that is to transform the way that you look at goals away from it being a task that you have to go and get done and really look at it more so in the context of you going and taking control of your own future.

You see, a lot of people have dreams and they wish for things and desire to have a certain reality and everyone feels that they deserve more than what most people probably have going for them right now or currently in their lives, but the thing about this is no one is just going to come give you a great life on a platter.

If you want that life you’ll have to earn the right to be there. One of the ways that you drive the activities to earn your way, you use goals as a way of you taking control of your own destiny as opposed to allowing it.

This is the thing, if you’re not setting goals for yourself, there are goals being set for you somewhere. Maybe there’s a goal down at the welfare office of a certain number of people that have taken advantage of that.

Maybe there’s a goal at a company that are going to cut expenses this year and that may include cutting your salary or cutting your job or cutting your stock options. So, there’s always being goals made on behalf of your life somewhere by someone.

When you’re writing your own goals you’re setting and taking charge of that destiny, making sure that you’re driving activities for yourself that are going to be in your best interests as opposed to in the best interest of someone else or worse case scenario, goals that someone has for you that actually work against your best interest.

So, you want to be not just a goal setter but a serial goal setter where you are in the habit of setting goals, working hard to achieve those goals and then setting a new set of goals to get to the next level. So, I really hope that at least one thing that I’ve said has had some kind of impact in a way that you look at goals now.

Goal Setting – Your Uniqueness is the Key to Achieving Your Life Goals and True Success

Unique Infovest21 Goal Setting by Karim Ismail.

Like many successful business people, I used to spend much of my thought life comparing myself to others. Were they smarter? On more powerful committees? Involved in building projects more lucrative and groundbreaking than my own? Did they work longer hours? Live in a nicer house? Have better connections?

Perhaps you’ve had the same thoughts from time to time. Since recovering from a debilitating illness and focusing my life on helping others achieve their goals and dreams, I’ve become much more aware of the concept “I am me.” I believe that awareness of your uniqueness is the key to kindness, compassion, and true success.

Consider this: scientists still haven’t been able to figure out the number of possible combinations of DNA molecules that form your identity. All they have is an estimate: 2.4 billion to the power of 10. That’s an incredible number when you consider that the possible combinations of all particles in the entire universe amount to only 76 to the power of 10! That means the particle combinations in the entire universe are much smaller than what is inside your very body and which forms your identity.

Scientifically speaking this means you are powerful and unique. So don’t waste your time and energy trying to fit into a mold or trying to be like someone else. You are unique and different from everyone else, no matter what you think and no matter what you do. Don’t let the word “normal” creep into your vocabulary.

As you map out your life blueprint and continue to set goals remember that you are the only “me” there is. Many people seem to have trouble discovering what they really want to do in life and even more trouble making it happen. But the more you dwell on “I am me” – and the less you think about how you compare to others – the more possibilities you’ll see for yourself.

Conservation Of Mother Earth

Infovest21 Technological Breakthroughs by Mark Neil Voisin.

Due to great destructions brought about by technological breakthroughs, imbalanced biodiversity of so called “homeostasis” and great climate change is experienced.

Imbalanced biodiversity is a process of system, either open or close, that is not of stable condition. Interactions of living things between and among every individual and their interaction with the environment is unstable. Climate change, on the other hand, is a change of the normal conditions of weather being experienced throughout the year.

This was caused by the greed and self-centered thoughts of man, towards God’s creatures. Man is the highest of all God’s creation and the appointed co-creator of His paradise. But man’s actions sometimes are the cause continuous destruction on the environment resulting to tragedies. Calamity is one proof that nature fights back, in whatever accounts we have done against them.

What must be done to heal this problem? There are many ways in which man can alleviate these even worsening problems. Here are some:

• Not allowing the children to free colorful balloons in air. For allowing balloons to free in air and accidentally falling in oceans may be mistaken by sea turtles as yummy jellyfish that may cause them to die.

• Know the 3r’s; recycle, reuse, reduce. Recycling like recycled printing papers-a safe means and eco-friendly means of paper printing is recommended to reduce the huge and mountainous wastes. Reusing of reusable things and reducing the use of plastics are also helpful.

• Being kind with trees is a must. With the loss of trees nothing will sip the excess waters and will cause for huge flooding.

• Trying to get involved to tree planting is also recommended.

• Shattered scientific equipments like thermometer, barometers, manometers, sphygmanometers, and other mercury-containing apparatus should be properly disposed.

• Minimizing the use of refrigerators, air conditioners and other CFC-contributing appliances contribute much.

• Buying endangered and exotic animal is strictly discouraged. Theses animals are intended to be wild animals not as decorations.

• Educating the whole community about the effects of dynamite fishing, illegal logging and other forms of destructive means is strongly recommended. In this way they would fear to do these.

• Being responsible of own garbage. It’s a must that we should keep our garbage in place.

• Discouraging ourselves of eating endangered species is a must. The extinction of these wild animals would result to an imbalance biodiversity.

• Trying to appreciate nature and its gifts to mankind is love of nature.

These are just some of the things which we must do to conserve and protect mother earth. We are the co-creators of God’s creatures, and so we must be the stewards for its protection.

Top Ten Strangest Foods From Around the World

Top Ten David Daniels Odd Foods Author Worldstepper.

They say one man’s trash is another man’s treasure. The same could be said about food: one man’s nightmare may just be another man’s delicacy. From cow’s tongue and pig’s snout to chicken’s feet, from fried worms and frog’s legs to sautéed snails, the list of weird stuff we eat is endless (and often quite tasty). If you’ve been indulging lately and need a reason to diet, take a read, you may just lose that appetite. Here is the list of the ten strangest foods from around the world.

10. Fried – brain sandwiches

Long before the era of Mad-Cow Disease, a sandwich made from fried calves’ brain, thinly sliced on white bread was a common item on the menus in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. The sandwich is still available in the Ohio River Valley, where the brains are now heavily battered and served on hamburger buns. In El Salvador and Mexico beef brains, lovingly called sesos in Spanish, are used in tacos and burritos. The brains have a mushy texture and very little flavor on their own so the addition of copious amounts of hot sauce definitely helps.

9. Haggis

A traditional Scottish dish, haggis is made with the minced heart, liver and lung of a sheep mixed with onion, spices, oatmeal, salt and stock, and boiled in the sheep’s stomach for a few hours. Larousse Gastronomique, a popular encyclopedia of gastronomic delights, claims that haggis has “an excellent nutty texture and delicious savory flavor.” Haggis is available year-round in Scottish supermarkets and made with an artificial casing rather than a sheep’s stomach. In fact some are sold in cans to be heated in a microwave before eating. Similar dishes can be found in other European countries with goat, pork or beef used instead of sheep.

8. Bugs

The practice of eating insects for food is called entomophagy and is fairly common in many parts of the world, with the exceptions of Europe and North America (though bugs are apparently a favorite with the television show “Fear Factor”). It is not uncommon to find vendors selling fried grasshoppers, crickets, scorpions, spiders and worms on the streets of Bangkok, Thailand. Insects are high in protein and apparently consist of important fatty acids and vitamins. In fact flour from drying and grinding up mealworm can be and is often used to make chocolate chip cookies. So next time you think there is a fly in your soup, it may actually just be part of the presentation.

7. Rocky Mountain Oysters

What is so strange about oysters? Probably the fact that they’re not the kind you find at the bottom of the ocean, but rather a fancy name given to deep-fried testicles of a buffalo, bull or boar. Rocky Mountain oysters (also called Prairie Oysters) are well-known and regularly enjoyed, in certain parts of the United States and Canada, generally where cattle ranching is prevalent. The testicles are peeled, boiled, rolled in a flour mixture, and fried, then generally served with a nice cocktail sauce.

6. Stuffed Camel

The recipe for a whole stuffed camel kind of reads like a bad joke, with ingredients that include one whole camel, one whole lamb and 20 whole chickens. The Guinness Book of World Records lists the recipe as the largest item on any menu in the world, conveniently leaving out any concrete examples of this dish actually being eaten. Legend has it that that a whole stuffed camel is a traditional Bedouin dish seemingly prepared like a Russian Stacking Doll, where a camel is stuffed with a whole lamb, the lamb stuffed with the chickens and the chickens stuffed with eggs and rice. The entire concoction is then barbecued until cooked and served. Fact or fiction, the shear amount of food created by this dish makes it deserving of a place on the list.

5. Hakarl

Anthony Bourdain, known for eating some of the strangest foods in the world, claims that hakarl is the most disgusting thing he has ever eaten. Made by gutting a Greenland or Basking shark and then fermenting it for two to four months, hakarl is an Icelandic food that reeks with the smell of ammonia. It is available all year round in Icelandic stores and often served in cubes on toothpicks.

4. Fugu

Fugu is the Japanese word for the poisonous puffer fish, filled with enough of the poison tetrodotoxin to be lethal. Only specially-trained chefs, who undergo two to three years of training and have passed an official test, can prepare the fish. Some chefs will choose to leave a minute amount of poison in the fish to cause a tingling sensation on the tongue and lips as fugu can be quite bland. Perhaps the fuss of fugu is more in surviving the experience than the actual taste of the deadly fish.

3. Casu Marzu

Found in the city of Sardinia in Italy, casu marzu is a cheese that is home to live insect larvae. These larvae are deliberately added to the cheese to promote a level of fermentation that is close to decomposition, at which point the cheese’s fats are broken down. The tiny, translucent worms can jump up to half a foot if disturbed, which explains why some people prefer to brush off the insects before enjoying a spoonful of the pungent cheese.

2. Sannakji

With sashimi and sushi readily available the world over, eating raw seafood is no longer considered a dining adventure. The Korean delicacy sannakji however, is something quite different, as the seafood isn’t quite dead. Live baby octopus are sliced up and seasoned with sesame oil. The tentacles are still squirming when this dish is served and, if not chewed carefully, the tiny suction cups can stick to the mouth and throat. This is not a dish for the fainthearted.

1. Balut

Balut seems to be on every “strange food” list, usually at the top, and for good reason. Though no longer wriggling on the plate like the live octopus in Korea, the fertilized duck or chicken egg with a nearly-developed embryo that is boiled and eaten in the shell is easily one of the strangest foods in the world. Balut is very common in the Philippines, Cambodia and Vietnam and usually sold by street vendors. It is said balut tastes like egg and duck (or chicken), which is essentially what it is. It is surprising to many that a food that appears so bizarre—often the with the bird’s features clearly developed–can taste so banal. In the end, apparently everything does indeed, just taste like chicken.
